Steinway Artist and Professor of Piano at Eastern Michigan University, Joel Schoenhals has endeared himself to Southeast Michigan audiences through nearly 100 salon-style house concerts in private homes reaching thousands of people over the past seven years.
Bringing this same spirit to KCH audiences, Schoenhals’ program will feature Schubert’s Fantasy in C Major, Op. 15 (also known as the “Wanderer” Fantasy), Schumann’s Fantasy in C Major, Op. 17, and other pieces. Schoenhals’ recordings of these masterworks have been widely acclaimed.
