LAUGHTER AT THE HAPPY HOUR
Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano: Live from the Red Wall Saloon
Thursday, December 17 @ 5:30 PM EST

This new monthly series celebrates this cabaret style of Bolcom & Morris – and sometimes even features them! In these strange and uncertain times, who couldn’t use a little Laughter at the Happy Hour?
This installment features Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano in Live from the Red Wall Saloon.
Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano are the New York nightclub world’s most celebrated couple. These married musical partners are known for their freewheeling mashup of the songbook — blending Hollywood, Broadway, pop and jazz, the singer/songwriters, and making them all sound new and fresh. Pianist/singer Eric Comstock has been called “cabaret caviar” by The New York Times and praised for his “expert musicianship and joie de vivre” in The New Yorker. Vocalist Barbara Fasano’s latest CD, BUSY BEING FREE, was hailed in The Huffington Post as “intelligent, lush, & sexy.” Together they’ve won 8 Manhattan Association of Cabaret (MAC) Awards, 5 Bistro Awards, and The New York Nightlife Award. They headline in concert halls and music festivals from London to Lincoln Center, The Algonquin and Kerrytown to Carnegie Hall. They are Resident Artists at New York’s legendary Birdland Jazz Club. During the pandemic, Eric and Barbara have been streaming music from their New York apartment, affectionately dubbed “The Red Wall Saloon,” in their YouTube series #72andsong. The New York Times calls them “Exhilarating … a hotbed of pleasure.”
We at Kerrytown call them family and are so happy to welcome them back for Laughter at the Happy Hour!
