Chamber Soloists of Detroit: With Best Inventions
October 8 @ 7:30 pm$19 – $50
While the word “invention” is a musical form, it also describes the discovery process that any composer engages in when creating a new piece of music. You are invited to join Chamber Soloists of Detroit as they return to Kerrytown Concert House this season to perform an intriguing program of music “invented” by Mozart, Brahms, Schubert, and Piazzolla – with a special premiere of the brilliant young Michigan composer Ryn Jorgensen’s HBO film score, “Black Boy Joy:” Suite for Piano Quartet. Kerrytown Concert House’s salon-style setting is the perfect match for CSD’s customary “Just Between Us” talk-back – where the artists look forward to engaging with the audience immediately following the concert.
