Back by popular demand, Ellen Rowe and her trio present a concert/lecture series exploring the jazz trio. Take a behind-the-scenes look at the foundations of jazz with the insight of some of the region’s most swingin’ all-stars.
The Trio celebrates Mothers Day with a program of music by female jazz composers, including Mary Lou Williams, Janelle Reichman, Marian McPartland, Ingrid Racine, Ellen Rowe, Irene Himelhoch and Terry Pollard.
