Event Details

All Sanctuary relishes the element of surprise. It is an unexpected and improvisatory trio that fuses sounds from across the instrumental spectrum featuring Mark Kirschenmann (playing trumpet without a mouthpiece), John Churchville (on tabla) and harpist Jennifer R. Ellis.

This Fringe @ the Edge performance will take place at The Lunch Room, located in the Kerrytown Market & Shops (407 N. Fifth Ave., Ann Arbor, MI 48104).

As part of the 10th anniversary of Edgefest in 2006, KCH created a series of free public performance events which took place during the days and early evenings in restaurants, cafés and galleries in downtown Ann Arbor, featuring some of the areas most accomplished creative musicians. The Fringe project, now a festival staple, has been very successful in moving creative and imaginative music making out of the conventional concert hall venue and into public spaces such as bars, restaurants and markets.

The Edgefest schedule and line-up are subject to change. Please check back for continued updates.

Tickets to Edgefest are $10-$15 for individual ticketed events, with a limited number of student tickets ($5) available for most performances. An Edgepass ($160) is available, which allows for admission to all events, as well as a special dinner with our Edgefest artists.
